Who We Are
With over a decade of experience across the forestry, arboricultural and rural land management sectors, we deliver professional, dependable services to clients ranging from private landowners and farms to large estates and public sector organisations.
Our experience encompasses everything from small privately owned woodlands to estates exceeding 4,000 acres, including the management and maintenance of multiple woodland sites throughout the South East of England. We have also successfully delivered projects for local authorities and other organisations, providing practical solutions to a diverse range of forestry, arboricultural and estate management challenges.
This breadth of experience has not only enabled us to make valuable connections and contacts within the industry, but also enables us to approach every project with confidence, professionalism and a thorough understanding of the unique demands of rural land management. Whether undertaking woodland management, arboricultural works, groundworks, estate maintenance or specialist forestry operations, we are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service and lasting results.
Our Story
My career in arboriculture and forestry began at the age of 15 when I completed a week's work experience with a local tree surgeon while still at school. From the very first day, I was hooked. The combination of working outdoors, operating machinery and managing trees and woodland sparked a passion that would ultimately shape my career.
With that in mind, I enrolled at Plumpton College after leaving school to study Forestry and Arboriculture, developing both the practical skills and technical knowledge that form the foundation of my work today.
The first contracting role came after leaving college at the age of 17, when I began working as a self-employed timber cutter on the Paddockhurst Estate in Turners Hill. This early opportunity provided invaluable hands-on experience and only strengthened my passion for forestry and woodland management.
From those beginnings, I was fortunate to steadily grow both my experience and client base, working across a wide variety of estates, woodlands and commercial contracts throughout the South East. Over the years, I have undertaken work for a multitude of prestigious estates, as well as delivering large-scale tree and woodland management projects for organisations throughout Sussex, Surrey and Kent, assisting with extensive ash dieback clearance programmes.
Since then, I have continued to expand both the services we offer and the scale of projects we undertake. What began as forestry contracting has developed into a comprehensive range of services including woodland and tree surveying, large-scale forestry operations, arboricultural works, estate maintenance, agricultural groundworks and highway vegetation management.
This growth has enabled us to build strong working relationships with a number of respected estates, landowners and organisations throughout Sussex and the wider South East. Our client base now includes a multitude of private country estates, alongside professional land management firms throughout Sussex. Working alongside estates, land agents, local authorities and private landowners has provided valuable experience across a diverse range of environments, allowing us to deliver practical, professional and cost-effective solutions tailored to each client's requirements.
Today, we continue to invest in our skills, equipment and capabilities, enabling us to undertake everything from individual tree and woodland projects through to large-scale estate, forestry and land management contracts. Whether managing a small private woodland, carrying out estate maintenance, undertaking highway vegetation works or delivering specialist forestry operations, we remain committed to providing a reliable, professional service and high-quality workmanship on every project.
